The volunteer members of YPO create educational books for Elementary School Children. They are Published and Distributed by YPO and  each book describes the plot and includes some of the music from a famous opera. The books are FCAT friendly and are published and distributed by YPO to elementary school children in Miami-Dade County & Broward County.

A typical Opera Funtime has short biographies of the composer and librettist, an introduction to the opera's main characters, a plot summary, information about the music, a craft activity related to the opera, an act-it-out scene from the opera, and many games and puzzles to reinforce the information given. You can see a page from Così fan tutte on the right.
